02What does “ADT-monitored” mean?
Your system is monitored 24/7 by ADT’s professional monitoring centers. If an alarm is triggered, trained ADT operators respond immediately, contact you, and notify emergency services if needed. This adds a dependable layer of protection beyond self-monitored devices.
03How long does installation take?
Most home installations are completed within a few hours. Larger or more complex systems may take longer. Before installation, we walk you through what to expect and schedule a time that works for you.
04Will installation damage my home?
We install systems with care and respect for your property. Many ADT-monitored devices are wireless, which often means little to no drilling. If any wiring or drilling is required, we explain it ahead of time.
05Do you offer support after installation?
Yes. If you have questions or need assistance, our team is here to help. We stay available long after installation to ensure your system continues performing reliably.
06Can I control my system from my phone?
Yes. The ADT Control app allows you to arm or disarm your system, view camera footage, receive alerts, and control compatible smart home devices from virtually anywhere.
07What happens if my power or Wi-Fi goes out?
ADT-monitored systems include battery backup to help keep your system running during a power outage. Most systems also include cellular backup, so monitoring continues even if your home internet goes down.
08How much does a security system cost?
Pricing depends on the equipment, features, and layout of your home or business. During your free consultation, we provide a clear, straightforward quote based on your needs — with no hidden fees or pressure.
09Can I customize how my system works?
Absolutely. We tailor the system to your needs — including which sensors trigger alarms, how notifications work, and which smart home features you want to use. During installation, we walk you through setup and answer every question.
